ILV’s mission is to provide every patient with high quality, personalised care. When it comes to continence care, this involves more than just managing catheters and prescriptions. Navigating the NDIS or other insurance providers can be a struggle. But ILV makes it easy.
To provide the care a patient deserves, we begin with a comprehensive continence assessment. This involves determining the patient’s needs, recommending aids, creating a management plan, and evaluating options for funding such as the NDIS. We will then report everything necessary to your general practitioner and file all necessary paperwork with funding agencies.
- Urinary Catheter Management
- Continence Assessments which includes:
- A management plan will be discussed with the client
- A report can be sent to the GP and referrer highlighting the assessment conclusions and actions
- Eligibility for funding will be assessed
- Appropriate paperwork will be lodged with funding bodies if the client is eligible
- The Continence Nurse Specialist will recommend and organise samples of appropriate aids for the client.
